WorkCover Queensland Pschology, Psychotherapy and Social Work Services

WorkCover counselling provides psychological and emotional support for people who have experienced a work-related injury or illness.

A workplace injury can affect much more than your ability to work. It can impact your confidence, identity, relationships, mood, sleep, sense of safety, financial wellbeing and overall quality of life.

WorkCover psychological therapy supports people experiencing the emotional and psychological impacts of workplace injuries, including workplace stress, psychological injuries, trauma, burnout, bullying, harassment, chronic pain, adjustment difficulties and return-to-work support.

The goal of treatment is to support recovery, improve wellbeing, build coping strategies, and assist people to safely engage in rehabilitation, recovery and return-to- work where appropriate.

If you have an approved WorkCover Queensland claim, treatment may be funded through WorkCover Queensland.

Sessions are available in-person in Bulimba and online throughout Queensland.

WorkCover Adjustment To Injury Counselling in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and across Queensland

Three principles guide how I support people recovering from workplace injury:

Relational
Recovery happens in supportive relationships. Being genuinely heard, understood, and supported can be an important part of healing, particularly when injury, stress, or trauma has affected your confidence, wellbeing, or sense of self.

Collaborative
I am not here to fix you, judge you, or blame you. We work together to understand your experience, identify what supports recovery, and build on your existing strengths, resources, and capacity.

Empowering
Recovery is not only about managing symptoms. It is also about reconnecting with your resilience, confidence, and sense of agency, and moving towards a life that feels meaningful and sustainable.
